Caroline and I spent all day walking around the Pompeii ruins. I didn't realize it is an entire city, not just some little section that was excavated. On this day it was like 40 degrees. C. Luckily there were water fountains all over the place.
Since Pompeii is an entire city, there was lots and lots of stuff to take photos of. I had to "narrow down" the photos to about forty. Enjoy!
To me, Piazza Navona represents Rome. On first sight, it just looks like a normal Plaza. You see the fountains and the buildings. No big deal. However, after you sit there for a while more and more details just keep coming to life and before you know it your in awe of something that didn't seem like a much to begin with.
